1.How is my Gift For Life Money Spent?
Donations through Gifts For Life will be used to support all the work of Traidcraft Exchange. This income will allow Traidcraft Exchange to respond to changing needs as they arise and will enable us to have the greatest impact on the lives of people living in poverty.
2.Can you give some examples of how my gift may be used?
The examples shown within the range indicate the breadth of the work Traidcraft Exchange is undertaking overseas. It ranges from training a local trainer in Bangladesh in how to develop quality products for a western market, to paying for soil testing to ensure a small tea grower can reduce pesticides and strengthen their position in the supply chain. We are also actively campaigning in the UK and Europe against unjust trade rules which penalise the worlds poor.
3.Can I say how my gift should be spent?
The money raised from Gifts for Life will be spent where Traidcraft Exchange feels it is most appropriate this means that we do not have to restrict funds to specific projects and risk either over or under subscription. Your gift will be used to to fund all our work of transforming lives through trade.
